Natural Grace in Kashmir





















He reminded me of the remarkable ancient Fayum portraits, which I learned about at art school in Greece. Another student from the Aegean Center for Fine Arts has written more here:

I was always fascinated by the thought of how ancient people looked. 
The answer of course is that they looked like us.






Kashmir is the old world. 
I am glad I got there to see the Kashmiri aesthetic before it all changes.
